The Biodiversity Institute of Antarctic and Subantarctic Ecosystems (BASE) seeks to provide a postdoctoral scientific position in Niche Models or Species Distribution Models (SDMs), a call to which Chileans or foreigners can participate to carry out research within the framework of Project ICN2021_002.
Looking for a person, preferably in regions, for biodiversity research in Antarctic and subantarctic areas, with management of software in the field of Geographic Information Systems, preferably ArcGis. In addition, with medium-advanced knowledge of the R language, knowledge of modeling packages and script development.
The submission of background information must be made through the email [email protected] and the deadline expires on April 30, 2024. The final resolution regarding the award of postdoctoral positions will be made by the Council of Principal Researchers of the project in May 2024.
